The founder and management team of Orange Magic Cube were formed in 2008, comprised of elites and experts from the financial information technology industry. The company has a registered capital of 100 million yuan and has branches in various parts of China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Qingdao.

The company’s predecessor was Shenzhen Qianhai Orange Magic Cube Information Technology Co., Ltd., established on August 17, 2015, with a registered capital of 10 million yuan, co-founded by Zhou Wei, Zhou Hui, and Shenzhen Blue Whale Internet Financial Services Co., Ltd.
As it developed, Orange Magic Cube underwent a change in shareholding on June 28, 2017, introducing Shenzhen Qianhai Lerong Financial Services Investment Co., Ltd. as a major shareholder, increasing the registered capital to 15 million yuan. On July 4, 2019, Orange Magic Cube completed an industrial and commercial change, renaming itself to Shenzhen Orange Magic Cube Information Technology Co., Ltd., and relocated to 27th Floor-2, East Tower, Baidu International Building, Haitank Street, Yuehai Community, Nanshan District, Shenzhen.
By the end of 2020, Orange Magic Cube obtained a human resources service license, allowing it to provide human resources services and labor dispatch services. On June 30, 2021, Orange Magic Cube officially joined the Linux Foundation organization, actively participating in open-source projects. On September 30 of the same year, the company also officially joined the HyperLedger project of the Linux Foundation organization, actively exploring blockchain technology and applications.
