The stablecoin company KAST announced on Wednesday that it has hired Brad Jaffe as its Chief Communications Officer. Jaffe previously served as the Global Head of Communications at the cryptocurrency exchange Binance for over three years, during which he was responsible for the exchange's strategic communications, particularly in addressing regulatory challenges amidst Binance's rapid growth.
KAST stated that once Jaffe joins, he will be responsible for global communications, brand positioning, and maintaining communication with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders. This hiring is an important move for KAST, which has hired over 300 employees in the past year, covering fields such as fintech, engineering, product, and compliance within the crypto ecosystem.
When discussing joining KAST, Jaffe said: "KAST aims to serve those who need reliable financial operations, including families remitting funds across borders and professionals paid in digital assets. The current opportunity lies in transforming this infrastructure into a trusted financial tool."
KAST founder and CEO Raghulan Pathi added: "Brad has led global communication efforts during critical moments of industry development, and his perspective will help us shape the next stage of KAST's growth."
