NVIDIA announced a new addition to its family of quantum artificial intelligence open-source models: the "Ising" quantum AI model. This model targets two core bottlenecks of quantum processors: the calibration of qubits and quantum error correction. NVIDIA stated that with this new model, the calibration time of quantum computing can be reduced from the traditional several days to just a few hours, while significantly enhancing the speed and accuracy of quantum error correction. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang remarked in a statement, "To achieve the practical application of quantum computing, AI is key. Through Ising, AI will become the control layer of quantum computing, much like the operating system of quantum machines, able to transform fragile qubits into scalable and reliable quantum GPU systems."
