This facility is considered a crucial part of Iran's strategic defense system, housing various liquid-fuel missiles and serving as a key strategic asset for the country.
Footage released by the media reveals that only about 10% of "Missile City" is open to the public, with the remaining 90% still undisclosed. Iranian media claim that this underground facility was used in military actions against Israel in October 2024, highlighting its military influence in regional affairs. During his visit to "Missile City," the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Hossein Salami, refuted claims that Iran's missile production capacity had been damaged and emphasized significant progress in the number, quality, capabilities, and design of its missiles.
Meanwhile, Iranian state media, citing Agence France-Presse on January 12, reported that Iran is expanding the scope of its military exercises, codenamed "Power." The current round of exercises commenced last week and is expected to continue until mid-March, covering two additional nuclear facilities in the west and center of the country. The drills involve the Iranian Defense Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, focusing on demonstrating Iran's rapid response capabilities and comprehensive military deployments in the face of potential threats.
On January 7, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that the initial phase of these exercises had been concentrated around Iran's central Natanz uranium enrichment facility. These drills aim to enhance defense capabilities for important strategic targets while showcasing the latest advancements in Iran's missile technology and military strength.
